Course Content
Candidates will learn very practical knowledge and skills for the food handling, preparing, serving and storing industries. Candidates will learn basic skills on how to keep themselves and customers healthy and safe. These courses are ideal for managers, executives, owners and head operators of restaurants. Candidates that successfully complete these classes will receive certificates that meet BC Health Act regulations.
Class Length
Food safe level 1 takes one full day (approximately 8 hours) to complete. Food safe level 2 takes twice that length. Candidates must have a food safe level 1 certificate prior to attending the level 2 course.
